Area Manager – East Coast, Hawkes Bay & Wairarapa
(Dip Veterinary Nursing (Massey University) B.Viticulture)
Hi, I’m Rena and I’m delighted to be taking over from Christian Muller as Area Manager for Hawkes Bay & Wairarapa. Having grown up enjoying visiting family farms I am now based on a lifestyle block just out of Waipawa in Central Hawkes Bay. In what spare time the “lifestyle” block allows me I enjoy trail running with my fiancée Scott.
Having started my career as a vet nurse in Wellington I moved back to Hawkes Bay to study Viticulture. After working on a few different vineyards in the region, I moved to a technical role with PGG Wrightson. For the last 12 years I have worked closely with primary industries, predominantly focussing on pest and disease monitoring in horticulture crops. I look forward to getting to meet you all soon.
Hauraki Plains, North Waikato & South Auckland Area Manager
Hi, I’m Lori. I am returning to work with Nutritech in the Hauraki Plains/Waikato. I was the Area Manager for Northland and Rodney for 21 months before relocating my family during maternity leave. I’m originally from Hamilton and went to Waikato University before going to the University of Kentucky, USA, to complete my masters with dairy cows in 2017/18. At work I enjoy helping to make big changes on farm with animal health, diets, and forage. Out of work I like to spend time doing outdoor activities with my family.
Canterbury Area Manager
Hi, I am Megan, I have been part of the Nutritech team for 6 years now. I spent my first 3 years in the Waikato and then transferred down to Canterbury which is where I grew up. At the end of August, I will be returning to work after taking some time off having my second child. I am really looking forward to getting back on board and touching base with everyone.
Area Manager for South/West Waikato & King Country Region
I grew up in South Africa where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from University of Pretoria. I also had the privilege to complete a Master’s degree in Ruminant Nutrition from Kansas State University in the USA. During my time at Kansas State University, I was responsible for assisting in running the research feedlot as well as the microbiology laboratory. I am passionate about livestock nutrition and assisting farmers in finding ways that they can improve their production in a sustainable manner. On my free time I enjoy having a yarn around the braai, and going out fishing on my kayak.
