DanMix® Grower

A free access mineral mix suitable for both R1s, R2s and mature cattle requiring a quality trace mineral mix to support early growth and health in cattle.

Per 40 gram dose contains:

* Derived partially from an organic source

R1’s – 20g/head/day
R2’s and older cattle – 40g/head/day

Place in a suitable container in a dry area away from water troughs. Cattle should be given free access along with water and roughage.

• Pour 1–2 days’ worth of DanMix® into a trough in an open area where multiple animals will have clear access.
• When introducing DanMix®, if cows are consuming more than the recommended dose rate, we suggest placing rock salt in the trough to reduce the initial craving for salt. Continue for seven days or as required to regulate intake.
• Many of our customers cut a clean 200-litre drum in half for a trough. PKE feeders or calf meal feeders also make excellent DanMix® troughs.
• Do not place troughs too close to water, as dominant animals may prevent others from drinking.
• Ensure there is adequate trough space so that shy feeders can gain access.
