Description
DanMix® Zinc is a loose-lick supplement designed to provide recommended levels of zinc for the prevention of facial eczema. It contains an ACVM registered zinc oxide* as well as trace minerals including organic copper to minimise the competitive adsorption effect of zinc and copper, thereby reducing the risk of copper depletion during treatment for facial eczema.

Recommended Dose Rate
Dose rate is 1g DanMix® Zinc per 10kg of live weight dose rate. e.g100kg calf = 10g/c/d.
It is recommended that a maximum of three days allocation is added to the DanMix® Zinc container at a time, and that the intake is monitored to ensure accurate dosing. For more information please contact your local Nutritech Area Manager.
Directions for Use
- When opportunities to dose zinc are limited (no water dosing meter, in-shed feeding systems or mixer wagons)
- As a good alternative to zinc boluses for runoff’s administer capsules
- R1’s, R2’s and cows that are sent to runoff
- To use before and / or after zinc boluses, to cover the shoulders of the facial eczema season.

DanMix® Zinc is great for supplementing on either side of using boluses. It’s much easier to use than bolusing and provides great facial eczema cover when spore counts aren’t quite high enough to warrant bolusing.
