Why Bedding Quality Matters
Young calves spend most of their time laying down or moving around in bedding. Poor bedding can lead to an increased risk of infectious disease and scours, respiratory issues and stress. Good bedding conditions improve calf comfort, health and subsequent growth and performance.
EazyBed Dry is a ready-to-use bacterial bedding conditioner containing beneficial microbes and cellulolytic enzymes. It promotes positive fermentation, reduces the growth of harmful bacteria and helps maintain dry bedding.

Recommended Dose Rate
- Pre-bedding (on foundations) 100 g
- Post-bedding (on top of new fresh bedding) 100 g
- Maintenance (weekly, on top of bedding) 100 g
Directions for Use
It’s recommended to apply EazyBed Dry before and after bedding to ensure optimum microbial coverage. Pre-bedding inoculates the floor, reducing harmful bacteria. Post-bedding secures beneficial microbes on the bedding surface for lasting protection.
Cautions
Wear mask and protective glasses in dusty conditions
Tips
- Apply by hand or with a powder spreader. If applying by hand always wear gloves. A face mask is recommended.
- Double the dose in case of increased risk (wet bedding, high disease risk)
- Do NOT mix with disinfectants.
- Apply 24 hours AFTER application of any disinfectant such as Virkon or similar product
- Safe to be applied while calves are in the pen
