Proternative® Milk

Proternative® Milk by Lallemand Animal Nutrition is an innovative specific live yeast probiotic designed to support gut health, immunity and growth performance in pre-weaned calves, lambs and kids. Specifically formulated for use in milk and milk replacers, it helps young animals better handle digestive challenges, especially during high-risk periods from birth to weaning.

• Specific live yeast probiotic (Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii CNCM I-1079) – With over 30 scientific publications in the ruminant lower gut, Proternative® Milk has a proven mode of action to support gut integrity, microbiome balance and immune function that leads to healthier calves and lower incidence of diarrhoea events.
• Precision formulation – Produced in Lallemand Animal Nutrition’s global manufacturing facilities, Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii CNCM I-1079 is quality assured to ensure consistency and viability of the live yeast in each granule of product. This ensures the probiotic effect is realised in the lower gut of the animal on a consistent and regular basis.
• High solubility and stability in milk – Easy mixing, uniform delivery, stable in suspension

Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii CNCM I-1079 : 10 x 109 CFU , dextrose carrier

5g/calf/day which can be increased to 10g/calf/day in challenging conditions.
One level rounded 1/3 cup (supplied) measures approximately 60 g. One cup treats 12 calves.
• A 3kg pack contains 600 doses
• A 7.5 kg pack contains 1500 doses.
• A 25kg pack contains 5000 doses

Stir thoroughly into colostrum, whole milk or calf milk replacer at the rate of 5g/calf/day from start of milk feeding.
• Can be fed daily and included during any situation when an animal is exposed to stress
• Can be mixed in calf bottles, buckets, calfeterias/milk feeders or automatic feeders
• Specifically designed to achieve the highest level of dispersion in milk replacer, raw or waste milk for young calves
• For best results, mix into warm milk (always below 50°C) and feed within 6 hours after mixing with liquid
• Can be fed in conjunction with antibiotics

Disposal:
Dispose residual powder into waste. Thoroughly wash container and reuse. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.

Reseal packaging after use. Store in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight. Avoid contact with eyes, inhalation and ingestion.
