Aerobically unstable silage produces significant amounts of heat from the uncontrolled growth of yeasts in the silage, leading to significant dry matter losses. The inhibition of yeast and other unwanted micro-organisms improves aerobic stability and stops forage heating, resulting in more hygienic and palatable silage.
MAGNIVA® Platinum contains enzymes plus three EFSA approved and proven bacteria technologies, including the newly-patented Lactobacillus hilgardii CNCM I-4785 – a unique strain of bacteria – that in combination with Lactobacillus buchneri NCIBM 40788 works across a variety of forages to:

Recommended Application Rate
MAGNIVA® Platinum Water Soluble is used at 2g/t of fresh forage.
One 100 g sachet treats 50 t of fresh forage.
One 500 g sachet treats 250 t of fresh forage.
Directions for Use
Mix content of sachet (100 g or 500 g powder) in 1 L of clean water at ambient temperature. Stir or shake to ensure contents is fully hydrated. Wait two minutes, stir again, then further dilute contents based on application rate.
E.g. If you want to apply at 40 mL/tonne of forage then a 2 g application rate divided by 40 mL means you need 0.05 g/mL or 50 g/L. Therefore the 1 L of 100 g sachet pre-mixed inoculant solution needs to be topped up to 2 L, or a 500 g sachet pre-mixed solution needs to be topped up to 10 L.
