Description
MAGNIVA® Classic contains a powerful combination of forage- specific bacteria and enzymes to drive the rapid fermentation and preservation of all forage types. MAGNIVA® Classic is especially suitable for lower DM forages – which are often lower in sugar content, and can help you rapidly drop the pH, minimise silage losses during fermentation, and maximise feed quality and digestibility. MAGNIVA® Classic works well on grass and legume forages that need help in the ‘front-end’ stages of fermentation.
MAGNIVA® Classic utilises two specifically-selected bacterial strains plus high-activity enzymes.
The combination of strains drive down the pH quickly to completion, above and beyond that of either strain individually.
They work together with a specific enzyme package to quickly and efficiently preserve lower dry matter forages as well as forages low in water soluble carbohydrates (WSC).
MAGNIVA® Classic delivers silage with less silage losses and higher nutritional value. Better silage can help you maximise the energy and nutrient content of your ration for a well-preserved, stable and high quality feed.
Guaranteed Content
P. pentosaceus NCIMB 12455, 180,000 CFU/g of forage
L. plantarum CNCM MA 18/5U, 20,000 CFU/g of forage
β-Glucanase 8,000 IU/g of forage
Xylanase 9,000 IU/g of forage
Recommended Application Rate
2g MAGNIVA® Classic / wet tonne
50 gram sachet treats 25 tonnes of fresh forage
200 gram sachet treats 100 tonnes of fresh forage
Directions for Use
Mix content of sachet in 1 L of clean water at ambient temperature. Stir or shake to ensure contents is fully hydrated. Wait two minutes, stir again, then further dilute contents based on application rate.
E.g. If you want to apply at 40 mL/tonne of forage then a 2 g/wet tonne application rate divided by 40 mL means you need 0.05 g/mL or 50 g/L
In this example, if the 50g sachet has been mixed up into 1L, then this is ready to use, 50g/L, applied at 40mL / tonne is 2g/tonne ([50g¸1000] x40mL =2g/tonne)
In this example, if the 200g sachet has been mixed up to 1L, the solution needs to be topped up to 4L to achieve 50g/L (200g ¸ 50g = 4L).
* The required dilution may vary depending on the intended application, consult your technician before use.
